Buyers Agent = 3% Commission
Listing Agent = 3% Commission
Equals
6% Commission
Buyers Agent gets $12,000 Commission
Listing Agent gets $12,000 Commission
For a Total of $24,000 in Commissions!!
Our Way
Buyers Agent gets 3% Commission
Listing Agent gets 0% Commission
Equals
3% Commission
So on a $400,000 home sale, you would be paying..
Buyers Agent gets $12,000 Commission
Listing Agent gets $0 Commission
A total of $12,000 in commissions instead of $24,000!

* The buyers real estate agent, the Realtor who brings the buyer, will still receive a commission that they normally receive when selling a home. The industry standard is approximately 3%. Ultimately, the commission will be decided by you and is stated in your MLS listing.
 
 
The reason why many homeowners opt to sell their homes on their own is because the commissions payable to realtors for only listing their home seriously cuts into any profits that they may realize.
 

When a buyer is looking for a home, they contact a realtor. The very first place the realtor looks is on the MLS. Your home will be on the MLS, without having to pay a listing realtor to list it there for you.
